    Hello!

I have a question about the q.19, statement: “Websites of doctors or health insurance companies”. Do we want to fins out if they get information from private bodies which for example might not be controlled from governmental/public bodies? I ask this, because especially for us in Greece, a health insurance could be either private
(optional for additional coverage or if you mainly want to use the private health sector) and public which is paid through our salaries (or social care when you are unemployed) and thus it covers everyone and it is contolled.

In case we want to know if they get information of the public official sector then we are covered by the statement “Websites of public bodies
(eg. please add three from your country)” but if we want to know if the are informed from private sector, then we should add “private” health insurance”.

Thank you in advance for your reply!

    Dear Evathia,

thanks for your question: no, this was not our intention (although I completely understand what you mean). In Germany, we also differ between private and public health insurances but each health insurance might offer different information (next to the official information), e.g. about personal protection, about health care provision in case of.., coverage etc. So, we think it will be (at least in Germany) different from what health insurances (regardless of private of public) will provide in comparison to public bodies. Website of doctors also provide different information (what to do if you experience symptoms, offerings of the medical doctor etc.).

    Best wishes
    Kevin
